Stoking the Scholar and Warrior Fire

The use of inner fire in purifying and transmuting internal energies is one of the most important tools in Taoist internal alchemy. In this program, Qigong 6 practitioners will learn how to stoke the fast hot warrior fire and the slow warm scholar fire, immerse fire in water, and erect and maintain the alchemical furnace necessary for the transmutation of the three internal energies.

This program is a requirement for advancement into Qigong Level 7.

Xiantianwujimen is a Taoist lineage founded by Chen Xiyi in 10th century China. “Xiantian” means prmordial, “wuji” means limitless, and “men” means gate. The translated name of the lineage is Primordial Limitless Gate.

This lineage specializes in using qigong to simultaneously cultivate and transform body and mind. A hermit and household tradition, Xiantianwujimen has been transmitted uninterrupted for over a thousand years. Qigong techniques favored by this lineage include self-massage, tendon-changing, calisthenics, marrow washing, and breath regulation.

Instruction of Xiantianwjimen qigong is offered by Eva Wong, a 19th generation carrier of the lineage, and by instructors authorized by the lineage.

Prerequisites:
For those who have completed Qigong Level 6, Parts 1 and/or Part 2.
Note: This program is a requirement for advancement into Qigong Level 7.

Arrival & Departure:
Please arrive between 3:00 and 6:00pm on the 10th for orientation.
Dinner will be served at 6:30pm.
The program will begin at 7:30pm on Sunday, September 10th.

The program will end at 6:00pm on Saturday, September 16th.
