Payment Policies

Payments, Cancellations, & Refunds

For All Programs & Cabin Retreats

To allow us to plan for and fund our programs:

  • A deposit of 50% of the estimated full program amount is required upon registration. Accommodations will not be reserved without a deposit.
  • Outstanding balances are due two weeks before the program start date.
  • If registering within two weeks of the program start date, 100% of the program price is required upon registration.

Cancellation Policy:

When Minimum Enrollment Is Not Met

Approximately two weeks before the start date of a program we confirm that we have sufficient numbers to hold the event. On the rare occasion when enrollment is too low, we may need to cancel a program. If this happens, we will notify all registered participants as soon as possible and provide a full refund of the program and accommodation fees paid to us. The center is not responsible for airfare or other travel expenses incurred however. For this reason we recommend purchasing refundable travel tickets or travel insurance whenever possible

When You Have to Cancel

  • All cancellation fees and unrefunded deposits on late cancellations, fund our scholarship program.
  • Exceptions to the cancellation policy due to illness or other extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.
  1. Two weeks or more before the start date of a program:
    1. Fee: A cancellation fee of 15% of the deposit will be charged.
    2. Deposit: The rest of the deposit, less the 15% cancellation fee, is refundable.
    3. Other Amounts Paid: Money paid over and above the deposit are refundable.
  2. Less than two weeks before the start date of a program:
    1. Fee: A cancellation fee of 15% of the deposit will be charged.
    2. Deposit: The rest of the deposit, less the 15% cancellation fee, is held as credit for a future program. This credit expires two years from the date of cancellation.
    3. Other Amounts Paid: Money paid over and above the deposit are refundable.
  3. On or after the start date of the program:
    1. Fee: A cancellation fee of 15% of the deposit will be charged.
    2. Deposit: The rest of the deposit, less the 15% cancellation fee, is held as credit for a future program. This credit expires two years from the date of cancellation.
    3. Other Amounts Paid: Money paid over and above the deposit are held as credit for a future program. This credit expires two years from the date of cancellation.
  • If you have an existing outstanding balance or a payment plan in process, you are required to pay for the new program in full no later than two weeks prior to the program arrival date.
  • Financial aid or scholarships must be approved and in place two weeks before the program
