Hinayana: The Path of Individual Liberation

This is an invitation:
Join our online Monday night book study group. We will begin a new study cycle with “Hinayana, The Path of Individual Liberation,” vol. 1 of The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma. (PTOD) This is a 3 volume, edited collection of the 13 years of seminary talks given by the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

The group is open to all.
These teachings are considered foundational to all further study and practice of the Buddhadharma, so much so that Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche admonished his students regardless of their level of practice to “never forget the Hinayana.”

Evening Study Schedule:

• 6:45 pm Open the "Room" for socializing
• 7:00 - 7:15 Sitting/contemplation
• 7:15 Begin our main reading.
  We proceed through zoom participants, each person reading 2-4 paragraphs with pauses as needed for discussion. Time often does not allow for everyone to read and no one is obligated to do so. Discussion is welcomed after any reading, there is no rush.
• 8:30 End of program, with the Dedication of Merit.
