Awake in the World: Meditation in Nature

with Donna Williams and Joseph Pascutazz

August 19 - 24

Meditation in Nature at Karme Choling

A brilliant, inner world is waiting to be discovered when we open our senses to nature. Join contemplative ecologist Donna Williams and Tai Chi enthusiast Joseph Pascutazz for a spacious retreat in the wilds of Karmê Chöling, where the living forest meets and awakens the mind.

Slow down and let the present moment unfold its wonders — the music of Stevens River, the alertness of deer in high grass, or the sight of your reflection in the eye of a salamander. Open to Earth’s energy, which cuts through concepts and returns us to our inherent, natural sanity.

There will be tasty meals, foraging, energetic postures and movement, outdoor meditations, spontaneous walks and pleasant conversation. Leave with a sense of restoration and invigoration.
