Bakes Mitchell lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is a student of the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. He attended Naropa from 1979 - 1981 and has a BA in Buddhist Studies. He is currently responsible for Development & Partnerships at the Lion's Roar Foundation.
