From Head Chef Jason Taylor and our Karmê Chöling kitchen to yours …

1 onion, diced into small cubes
5 cloves of garlic, minced
5 leaves of kale, rough chop
½ c vodka
1 c diced tomato
½ c julienne sundried tomatoes
1 c julienne roasted red pepper
½ c fresh peas
1 c heavy cream
½ c chopped fresh basil
¼ c chopped fresh oregano
¼ c chopped fresh Rosemary
½ c chopped fresh Italian parsley
1 lemon
Salt and pepper
Asiago cheese
Optional: hot or sweet Italian sausage

Cooking Instructions
Sauté onions and garlic, careful not to brown. Add kale leaves. 
Add vodka, and reduce until almost dry.
Add the diced and sundried tomato, roasted pepper and fresh peas. 
Sauté all ingredients for 5 min.
Add heavy cream and cook for 5 min.
At the last minute, add basil, oregano, rosemary and Italian parsley.
Correct seasoning with salt and pepper and juice of 1 lemon
Garnish with asiago
For a non-vegetarian alternative: Hot or sweet Italian sausage.
