Deputy Director

As a member of the senior management team of Karmê Chöling, the Deputy Director sets the tone and oversees interdepartmental functioning, communication and creativity, and meets regularly with the Director regarding view, strategy, and implementation of day to day operations. This is a key position for staff leadership, supporting long and short-term department initiatives. Director of Finance

Please join us as we plan Karmê Chöling’s future. This key position is part of the leadership team formulating future direction, developing financial strategies and managing the accounting operations of the organization.

The successful candidate is competent with electronic bookkeeping and Generally Accepted Accounting Practice and nonprofit accounting, has strong written and oral communication skills and experience partnering with an executive team. Ideally they will be a Shambhala practitioner who has attended Enlightened Society and Warrior Assemblies.

Director of Development

Magnetize and inspire generosity in support of Karmê Chöling’s ongoing operations. This position is responsible for all annual fundraising activities,working in conjunction with Karmê Chöling’s Capital Campaign Director, Barbara Edelman.

The ideal candidate has a deep passion for Karmê Chöling’s mission; at least 3 years of experience in professional fundraising (including fundraising program planning and personal solicitation); excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; strong computer skills; exceptional time management and organizational skills; and ability to lead a team.
