HYBRID: Unwavering Compassion: A White Tara Retreat with Mahayana and Vajrayana Sadhanas

with Acharya Judith Simmer-Brown and Marian English

October 30 - 31

White TaraThis hybrid program is available both On-Land and ONLINE.

Emanated from the tears of the compassionate Avalokiteshvara, peaceful White Tara is said to witness the suffering of beings through her seven eyes, and she soothes their fear, calms their anguish, heals their suffering—both individual and communal—and extends their lives.  This retreat has two parallel tracks, one focusing on the White Tara Sadhana composed by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and another with A Very Condensed Daily Practice of White Tara composed by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, as given by the Vidyadhara.  Talks on White Tara practice will bridge both tracks, with individual track instruction for each sadhana.  Some practice sessions will be done jointly.  The latter track is restricted to tantrikas; the former is open to anyone who has taken refuge vows.

This retreat is open to all practitioners.

This program can be taken as a stand-alone class OR as part of the three month study series, Yeshe Tsögyal and the Feminine Principle If you have registered for the full three month series, you are already registered for this retreat and do not need to re-register.
