Stoking the Scholar & Warrior Fire

For those who have completed Qigong Level 6, Parts 1 and/or Part 2.

The use of inner fire in purifying and transmuting internal energies is one of the most important tools in Taoist internal alchemy. In this program, Qigong 6 practitioners will learn how to stoke the fast hot warrior fire and the slow warm scholar fire, immerse fire in water, and erect and maintain the alchemical furnace necessary for the transmutation of the three internal energies.

This program is a requirement for advancement into Qigong Level 7.

Arrival & Departure

Please plan on arriving between 3-6pm on September 18, 2022 to register and check-in. Dinner is offered at 6:30pm. The program begins that evening at 7:30pm. The program ends around 6pm on September 23, 2022.


Qigong Level 6, part 1 

Participants are encouraged to attend Creating Strategies for your QiGong Practice, September 10 (evening) to 12, as a preparation to enter this retreat.

About Dr. Eva Wong

Dr. Eva Wong is the author and translator of many books on the Daoist arts of health, meditation, and qigong. She is the 19th-generation lineage carrier of Xiantianwujimen Daoism and 3rd-generation student of Wang Xiangzhai, founder of the Yiquan martial arts and Zhangshuan (standing qigong). She is a practitioner of the Pre-Celestial Way and the Complete Reality Lineages.
