Shambhala Day

February 5

Please join us to celebrate Shambhala Day and welcome in the new year! Included in the many activites throughout the day is the traditional sangha-wide address by His Majesty, The Sakyong, Jamgön Mipham Rinpoche.

Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the New Year and is one of the most important celebrations in Shambhala Buddhism. Based on the traditional Tibetan New Year, Losar, the day is calculated astrologically according to the lunar calendar.

Donations are welcome.
