Shambhala Training: Drala

February 26 - March 1, 2019

Mukpo Institute This program may be taken on its own or as part of the Mukpo Institute, a three-month residential program.

Drala is a pivotal level on the warrior's path. The principle of drala refers to the sacred energy and power that exists when we step beyond aggression. Here we are introduced to teachings that invite us to sharpen our awareness of the subtle, unseen energies of our world. Through exploring the depth of perception, one engages the elemental and magical strength inherent in the environment.

In this program we are presented with a map of the various layers of energy and manifestation that comprise our vast Shambhala world. We will deepen our connection to this presence by perceiving with the discipline of leading with an open heart, which allows for direct and nonconceptual experience. We are then available to receive, in the words of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, the "blessing energy of reality."
