Trident Assembly

This program is for Magyal Pomra Encampment veterans who wish to deepen their study of the Trident text or begin it from the beginning. The Assembly will involve study, discussion, and all of the forms of Kasungship. MPE veterans who are entering the Trident path will receive the reading lung and the first module of Book One. Those who have completed Trident Book One will receive the lung for the new Trident practice and will be able to purchase a bound copy of Book One. Those who have completed Book Two will be able to purchase a bound copy. 

$50 Heart gift for the Sakyong is included in the program price (standard for all Trident Assemblies, not optional). There may be a materials fee which will vary depending on which track you enter.

Arrival & Departure

Program begins Friday, December 8, 2017: registration at 15:00, dinner at 18:30, opening session at 19:30. Program ends on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 17:00hrs

About Toby Sifton, Rupön

Toby Sifton, Rupön, has been serving as a Dorje Kasung since 2001. He has served as NYC Squad Khenchung, Dragon Regional Gesar, Trident Regional Commander and is currently the Gesar Arm Commander. He has formally campaigned as Garsung for Sutrayana Seminary; Event Commander for Warrior and Scorpion Seal Assemblies; Garsung for Scorpion Seal; Court Security Officer at the Kalapa Court in Tatamagouche and Camp Commander for Magyal Pomra Encampment. He most enjoys the intermediary transition spaces of protection. He practices Traditional Medicine in Brunswick, Maine and lives with his spouse, Shastri Angela Lutzenberger and their fearless mahakala dog, Basho.

About Bob Taylor, Rupön

Special Operations Commander Bob Taylor, Rupön s a student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and has been a Dorje Kasung for over 30 years. He first learned kasungship in service to the Druk Makkyi at Seminary in 1985.  Eventually serving for 5 years as Gesar Arm Commander as a member of the Council of the Makkyi Rabjam. He is currently Special Operations Commander on the Gesar Operations Council and a firefighter and EMT where he lives in Newbury, VT.
