Self-Guided Retreat for Parents

February 24 - 26

While your teen is participating in Level I for Teens with Shastri Kranz, immerse yourself in practice and connect with the land. Parents have the freedom to decide their own schedules and practice activities.

Those who have an existing practice may join the Karme Choling staff in the Shambhala Shrineroom in the mornings (9:00am to 10:15am), evenings (5:30pm to 6:30pm), or any time in between. If you are a Werma practitioner, you have the added benefit of using the Sadhana Shrineroom.

If you are new to meditation and would like initial instruction, please let us know so we can schedule that for you. We also invite you to take advantage of exploring the land on our many trails.

The cost of this self-guided retreat is $50/day (for Saturday & Sunday) plus accommodations. Please arrive before dinner at 6:30pm on February 24th. Your teen's program begins that night at 7:30pm. The Level I for Teens program ends around 5:00pm on February 26th.

DISCOUNT PRICE: $100
To encourage all to study, we offer this discounted price to those who cannot afford the full price. Charitable donations provide the funding to make this pricing option available. We thank our donors for their generosity.

Financial Aid

Karme Choling offers interest-free payment plans, scholarships, and other financial assistance.

Please Note:
Price includes meals but not accommodations.

It is traditional for students to offer a monetary gift to the teacher in appreciation for receiving the teachings, and in recognition of the years of training and understanding the teacher has cultivated. There will be an opportunity to offer a teaching gift at the program.
