Art of War

with Rupa Acharya Suzann Duquette

November 29 - December 1, 2013

Sun Tzu - The Art of War

In Sun Tzu’s Art of War, we meet the Sage Commander, an extraordinary example of human skill – a warrior who is in tune with larger patterns, with discipline we can emulate and practice. This weekend program will explore the wisdom of Sun Tzu’s Art of War. Through the introduction of key themes, such as “taking whole,” and using contemplations and discussion, we will explore questions such as: How does this 2,500-year-old text apply to working with ourselves and others in today’s world? How is it similar to and different from a spiritual approach? What is its practicality? Sessions will include talks, discussion, experiential exercises, and brief sessions of meditation that support inquiry ito the “victories of the military lineage,” which cannot be transmitted in advance.

The Program will begin Friday evening at 7:30pm end Sunday afternoon at 4pm.
