Children's Day and Winter Solstice

We welcome you to this celebration to express appreciation for all children. Children will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of decorating and craft projects, which will culminate in a special shrine room processional. Next, after a delicious and hearty lunch, the Karmê Chöling staff will perform a play for the children and families. Children are invited to bring gifts (new and unwrapped for a child up to age 14) that will be donated through the local fire department to children in need.

Karmê Chöling is cheerfully decorated for this winter holiday, which marks the solstice. Our Children's Day Celebration is an opportunity to spend time with your children in a friendly and enriching environment. So join us for all or part of this special day. Please RSVP by registering online.

Children's Day begins at 10:30am, lunch is at 12:30 and the day will end around 3:00 or 3:30.
