Tendon Changing/Bone Marrow Washing and Animal Forms Intensives

Intermediate instruction in Xiantianwujimen, Yiquan, and Wudang Shan lineages is given in this program. Intermediate programs are presented in retreat format.Tendon Changing/Bone Marrow Washing begins the evening of the 4th and ends late afternoon of the 6th. Animal Forms begins the evening of the 6th and ends late afternoon of the 8th. Intensives are offered only in land practice centers. Participants are required to stay within the land center throughout the entire program.

This intensive includes personalized instruction in the following sets:

  • 12 devas
  • Hua Tu's Five Animals
  • The tiger, leopard, and snake forms from the Five Internal Animals
  • Selected tendon changing and marrow washing postures from The Immortals' Guide to Self Massage and Breath Regulation and the Red Phoenix Calisthenics
  • New material: Eight Basic Wudang Warrior Qigong forms

In this program, qigong postures will be modified to maximize training in tendon strength, elasticity, and flexibility. In addition, the Eight Basic Wudang Qigong forms, which is the fast-track program for strengthening the tendons, will be taught.

Dr. Eva Wong is the author and translator of many books on the Daoist arts of health, meditation, and qigong. She is the 19th-generation lineage carrier of Xiantianwujimen Daoism and 3rd-generation student of Wang Xiangzhai, founder of the Yiquan martial arts and Zhangshuan (standing qigong).
