Shambhala Training: Outrageous and Inscrutable
November 18 - 21, 2013
The four dignities lay out the stages of the path of warriorship. They are qualities that are innate to our own body, mind, and windhorse. Connecting with the energy and insight of each dignity brings further embodiment and deeper understanding of who we are and how to enjoy and engage the world. This program will combine sitting meditation, windhorse practice, study of a Shambhala treasure text (terma), sensory and outdoor explorations, and spending time with each other as a community of warriors in the world.
We will be spending a good amount of time outdoors, so please bring warm, waterproof clothing and good waterproof shoes/boots. Qigong (Eva Wong's lineage) will be offered before breakfast each morning for those interested in learning this form. It is optional. We will be doing other body exercises, so please bring loose comfortable clothing for moving around inside.
This program is offered as one continuous retreat, but this the final part that could be taken separately.
Outrageous and Inscrutable
Discovering the outrageous and inscrutable qualities of our heart, we are not afraid to leap into space and to do whatever needs to be done. Our small minded attachment to self-centered agendas dissolve, yet the smallest details of benefit are cultivated. Vastness and precision come together, beyond our hopes and fears. Outrageous and Inscrutable starts on the evening of November 18th and ends on November 21st with lunch at 12:30pm.
Completion of Shambhala Training: Perky.
