A semester of Buddhist study and practice under the direction of Ashe Acharya John Rockwell and senior teachers from the Shambhala Buddhist tradition. WHERE? Karmê Chöling, one of North America’s oldest Buddhist residential retreat centers, located in beautiful rural Vermont. WHEN? Fall semester begins mid-September and ends mid-December. Spring semester begins Mid-February and ends in late May. WHO? Anyone with a genuine interest in deepening his or her theoretical and experiential understanding of Buddhist meditation. HOW? Late applicants will be considered as space allows. Applicants may apply for subsequent semesters at any time, and will be notified of the admission decision within two weeks of receiving all application materials. Students who wish to attend up to one month or less of Mukpo Institute courses may register for individual courses at any time.
